boomI was eleven. I tried to climb as far as possible to the highest branches of the beech so that the wind could rock me. The landscape looked so vast and carefree.

As a kid I helped dismantle the landscape. The twigs had become useless for the farmer and the bushes disappeared very fast to make space for the corn. We sawed down trees, pulled out tree stumps and burned the branches.
